If it isn’t the first thing, it’s bound to be the next. However beautiful the day, however soothing the night, there will always be a knotted towel somewhere along the way. One might assume that truth and beauty can never be distilled in pure form from the reality that we are able to perceive, but this is a considerable misconception. It’s the bitter which makes the sweet, it’s alienation which increases the homeliness, it is hate which drives love to its absolute summit. Diamond Beach reflects this principle in all its facets, and it significantly increases the already overwhelming purity of experiencing it.
